A concert not to be missed! - Performing live one night only, celebrating the release of her new album, "Wild Rose & Salt Water" This is a limited engagement that Painted Lady Records is proud to present. - Aline aims to capture the present moment with poeticism and humour all wrapped up in a bow of timeless country melodies. She is original and cunning in her songwriting and lends a nod to ever inspiring songwriters such as John Hartford and Lucinda Williams. Drawing you in with her candid lyrics she can tell an entire story in one sentence with her unique voice. Inspired by the likes of Emmylou Harris and Gillian Welch the spirit of old time country music rings loud in her singing and songwriting and is uplifted with a modern dose of Americana.
Aline has performed at the Oregon Country Fair, Kluane Bluegrass Festival - Yukon, Whitefish Songwriters Festival - Montana, Dripping Springs Songwriters Festival - Austin TX, Tiny Lights Festival - Ymir BC, Woodstove Festival - Cumberland BC. She has showcased at Folk Alliance International (2025) & Your Roots Are Showing Ireland (2024) and tours frequently across Canada and Europe. She released her first LP “Wild Rose & Salt Water” on September 19th, 2025 which was accompanied with a four week tour in Germany, Belgium, Poland and The Netherlands. - Come see her at Painted lady Records! At Painted Lady Records, we are passionate about new and used vinyl records Our journey began in 2024 when Kemp met Donny while digging through bins and they bonded over rare finds, live music, and their shared experiences playing in bands and recording albums.
Painted Lady Records aspires to be more than just a record store. It's designed to be a community hub. Uplifting local talent and providing a stage - both literally and figuratively - to showcase Vancouver's local musicians.
“Yes, we buy and sell records but almost more than anything else we want the shop to be an immersive
experience. A place where you go hang out, listen to music, meet new people, and just be part of a cool scene.”
